It's Zherebukh: another rising Ukrainian star
Gurevich goes down to the young Ukrainian Yaroslav Zherebukh in the big clash on the first board. Zherebukh, who with 7 points and a handy 2766 performance, demonstrates that yet another Ukrainian has hit the scene.
So Negi, who has just turned seventeen, plays on top board in the last round against an even younger opponent. One of these two will be at least equal first. Chess is definitely a young person's game these days!
