A dull draw makes four

Alexander Grischuk (official site)
Four draws out of four in the Candidates Final match in Kazan between Alexander Grischuk and Boris Gelfand. Today's game was the least inspiring of all. Two classical games to go before the (seemingly inevitable) tie-breaks begin.

A rather tame English Opening led to mass exchanges and equality. Naturally a quiet, early draw is disappointing for chess fans, but both players want to manage their match.

However, the final position could have been played on by either player.

Name World rank Country Elo 1 2 3 4 5 6 Score so far
