Carlsen ahead of Ivanchuk

Carlsen and Ivanchuk
The leaders drew and so Magnus Carlsen and Vassily Ivanchuk finished equal first after the final round. Carlsen then won the Blitz tie-break 1½-½ to take the first place. The only decisive result in the tenth round was Viswanathan Anand's complicated win over Francisco Vallejo Pons, thus taking the World Champion above the Spaniard and into a third way tie with Hikaru Nakamura and Levon Aronian.
