Nancy Rapid and Blitz

As you may note from the photograph of the ten leading players, there were strong participants in the 9th International Chess Festival of Meurthe and Moselle. Laurent Fressinet won the Blitz on Saturday and was awarded the title of French Rapidplay Champion on Sunday. A good week-end for him!

First in the rapid was Daniel Fridman in a field of 17 grandmasters. Twelve other nations were represented.
